Nathan Silver grew up in Minneapolis.  His undergraduate degree is in political science from Knox College, his MBA is from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his law degree is from Mitchell Hamlin School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Before Nathan became a lawyer, he was an Army officer, and then a budget analyst who formulated and executed budgets of $100M.  Since he became a Colorado attorney in 1997, Nathan has emphasized commercial and residential real estate transactions, commercial leases, construction contracts, mechanic's liens, and business law.  Nathan also litigates business, real estate, and construction disputes.  Nathan brings a strong attention to detail to his work as a lawyer.

In commercial real estate, Nathan ensures the buyer does not make any mistakes.  Nathan drafts the contract to control the contract and to control the form of the documents seller will execute at closing, ensures the commitment is correct and removes as many title exceptions as possible, orders and reviews the survey, reviews zoning to verify the building complies with zoning ordinances or is legally nonconforming, orders the Phase 1 and the property condition assessment, drafts the deed, and reviews the closing documents to ensure they are correct.  After buyer receives the title policy, Nathan reviews the policy to verify there are no changes from the commitment, such as when title exceptions are added to the policy which were removed from the commitment.

In business law, Nathan forms limited liability companies, drafts and reviews operating agreements, and drafts and reviews  contracts.

In construction, Nathan drafts and reviews construction contracts, represents the construction professional by filing mechanic's liens, represents the property owner by reviewing mechanic's liens to determine whether they are correct, and litigates mechanic's liens for both the construction professional and the property owner.
